Jim Harbaugh And Assistants Play DJ Khaled On David Long Visit

The Wolverines' recruiting business will be Boomin' if they can land Long
The Wolverines' recruiting business will be Boomin' if they can land Long

In one of the stranger social media phenomena of the New Year, record producer DJ Khaled has become something of a star on Snapchat. The producer of Drake's No. 1 hit "I'm on one" has built a following on the app.

One of his recurring features is asking young sneaker mogul Benjamin Kickz how his business is going. Invariably, Ben responds "Boomin.'"

Somebody should alert Jim Harbaugh's assistants (aside from linebackers coach Chris Partridge) of the proper lines in the script:

Harbaugh and four assistants (Partridge, tight ends coach Jay Harbaugh, defensive coordinator Don Brown, and defensive line coach Greg Mattison) are in-home with four-star defensive back David Long this evening, and Long filmed the quintet giving their responses to Khaled's question.

Long, a four-star from Los Angeles (Calif.) Loyola, will announce his college decision between Michigan and Washington Thursday on ESPN. Clearly, the Wolverines are putting the full-court press on when it comes to reeling in the nation's No. 81 overall prospect.

Long, an Army All-American, took an official visit to Michigan for the Oct. 17 Michigan State game, and to Seattle last weekend.
