The big gainer - one of the most significant climbers in the country - was Highlands Ranch (Colo.) Valor Christian quarterback Dylan McCaffrey, who jumped 75 spots in the national rankings. The recent Michigan commitment is now one of the top quarterbacks overall.
A fifth star for Detroit Cass tech wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones saw a smaller climb in the numerical ranks (seven spots), but a huge honor for the local prospect.
Several of Michigan's offensive line targets made big leaps up the rankings. Cypress (Texas) Cy-Fair offensive tackle Austin Deculus jumped 86 spots, Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage tackle Tedarrell Slaton almost 100, and Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy guard/tackle Robert Hainsey gained an astounding 182 spots. There was a slight drop at the top for Brooklyn (N.Y.) Poly Prep tackle Isaiah Wilson, who went from No. 3 to No 5, but he remains among the very best players in the nation.
The Rivals Camp Series Presented by Under Armour begins its 2016 tour this weekend in Florida, and there will be another set of rankings at the conclusion of the series.
