Michigan's John O'Korn Ranked No. 43 QB Heading Into 2016

Redshirt junior John O' Korn has yet to take a snap in a Michigan uniform and hasn't taken a game rep overall since Nov. 28, 2014, yet that hasn't stopped the hype for his debut next season. In fact, AthlonSports.com ranks him as the sixth-best quarterback in the Big Ten heading into 2016.

Nationally, the site ranks O'Korn No. 43 in its pre-spring quarterback rankings, opining: "O’Korn is the leader to replace Jake Rudock on a crowded Michigan quarterback depth chart. He threw for 3,117 yards and 28 scores as a freshman in 2013 but took a step back (951 yards and six touchdowns) and was replaced by Greg Ward in 2014."

Clemson's Deshaun Watson was ranked No. 1 overall. Ohio State's JT Barrett is the top player from the Big Ten, coming in at third while Iowa's CJ Beathard is No. 14, followed by Nebraska's Tommy Armstrong (No. 32), Illinois' Wes Lunt (No. 33) and Minnesota's Mitch Leidner (No. 42).

O'Korn completed 56.4 percent of his 619 pass attempts in two seasons at Houston (2013-14), throwing for 4,068 yards with 34 touchdowns and 18 interceptions.
