O'Maury Samuels Goes Blue

Michigan remains hot on the recruiting trail landing Los Lunas (N.M.) running back O'Maury Samuels. The 5-10, 190-pound running back exploded onto the scene after posting a nation-leading Nike SPARQ rating of 138.30 in March. The powerful back announced via Twitter that he'd be playing his college football in Ann Arbor.

He was a relative unknown before the SPARQ event but after posting such impressive numbers while looking like a body builder at The Opening regional in Dallas, Samuels started reeling in offers, including one from Michigan.

He chose the Wolverines over the likes of Arizona, California, and TCU, among other smaller offers.
